About me and my practice
I started my career in the education sector. Tutoring Olevel student was a realisation the role relationships play in childhood and adolescent years, it urged me to train as a psychotherapist and help clients in pressure starting from an early age.
I offer myself as a compassionate practitioner helping clients through their struggles in life. The modalities which are part of my practice are psychodynamic, humanistic and IFS. My forte is working with embodied trauma resulting in somatic illnesses and inter generational traumas, that often is rewarding to unburden and stops the process of further transmission in the future generations.
CPD workshops and webinars are a regular part of my ongoing training as I feel its a pertinent part of professional development.
I engage with clients offering them a safe space and keeping their information confidential.
Experience
I have been working as a psychotherapist over four years my clientele mainly ranging from young adults and adults. I currently work as an independent practitioner at my private practice mostly online and part time at a Center for my clients in person.
When I started my practice the world was going through the worst pandemic of its times, I provided my services to most South-Asian community in despair stranded abroad due to lockdowns. It was a lovely experience of how connected the human community is despite its geographical boundaries.
I have worked with clients struggling with academics and work, helping them through the pressure and helping them through mental blocks. I have worked with clients with grief and bereavement helping them through loss of loved ones. I am mindful of somatic disorders working on the bottom-up technique of processing the trauma in the body, through the top-down method.
My forte is working with childhood traumas and helping my clients identify how it manifests in their relationship and behaviour in the present, through their attachment styles, in the form of insecurities, control, pleasing patterns, which results in a disturbed sense of self.
I do not believe in a dogmatic style of therapy, I believe in establishing a therapeutic relationship paying special attention to clients needs and helping them through a fragmented self, towards a cohesive self.

Initial Consultation
I start this therapeutic relationship by setting up an appointment for a session after brief questions over an email, to get an idea about their presenting issue and their expectations from therapy.
Fees
£60/ for a 50min session.
